Setting up Jet Analytics connection to Business Central

  • Install Jet Analytics extension in BC (Refer to above article)

  • Create the app registration in Azure, and create the secret

  • Add permissions to the app in BC Entra

    Search for Microsoft Entra application card

    Add: In client ID enter the application ID of the app registration you have just created

    Add user permission groups. Will need as a minimum read for all tables plus the Jet Analytics Extension permission
